I do hope everyone have a Merry Christmas, and I pray we will all have a safe, happy and prosperous New Year.
“Hog Valley”, which has been in production for the last three months (longer, I think, but who keeps track of that sort of thing?) is finally available as an audio book ( here’s the link on audible: http://www.audible.com/pd/Mysteries-Thrillers/Hog-Valley-Audiobook/B00H84PY3Y/ref=a_search_c4_1_2_srTtl?qid=1388089941&sr=1-2 ). It’s available through Amazon, Audible and iTunes.
My goal was to have it available for sale prior to Christmas, but unavoidable production issues forced us to push the delivery date to ACX back a few weeks. It couldn’t be helped, but it cost us more than a few lost sales. Christmas IS the retail market “Silver Bullet” for poor sales during the rest of the year, and we missed it by a few weeks.
I love the sound deadlines make as they go whooshing by…
“Twisted Key” is up next. Narration should start some time in the next week or ten days, according to Neil Hicks, the narrator.
“Standing Wave” the fifth novel in the Terry Rankin series, is moving along. Slowly, I will admit, but it is moving along. I will be back in Suwannee, Florida some time after New Year’s, for another round of research, photography and interviews.
After that, it’s down to writing, rewriting and editing. Well, that and feeding the critters, exercising the horses or saddling Ebony for a ride with a few friends. A boy’s got to have a life, right?
